Enterprise Automation:
Seagull Scientific most powerful edition
software for label and barcode printing for industrial solutions. Includes all
of the label design, printing, and software integration features of the
Automation edition full supportive version, plus advanced server functions for
centralized printing and administration. It also includes BarTender Web Print
Server to print labels from any browser of any system. Contains most advanced
integration features, including TCP/IP triggers, XML transforms, and XML
scripting, Includes full functionality for all of the Companion Applications,
including Librarian and logging to centralized databases from backend. Tracks
printer parts inventory and in-printer media usage features also included in
this software.
Automation:
All of BarTender's most powerful label design and
barcode printing features include in Automation version of bartender software.
Numerous software integration tools, such as ActiveX Automation, enterprise email
and short messaging and Seagull's Commander Utility for cross-platform
integration. All the data sourcing of Professional, plus support for SAP IDocs.
In this Includes all of the Companion Applications except for Librarian, but
not all of the features. Logging to local databases only such as bigdata.
Includes all available RFID design and encoding capabilities also available in
this software’s version.
Note Limitations: Does not offer the enhanced
server functions, advanced integration (such as XML and SAP AII), and web
printing capabilities of Enterprise Automation. No Librarian. Excludes some
Companion Application features allow. No logging to centralized databases feature
available. No inventory control of printer supplies can check by this version.
Professional:
All of BarTender's most powerful label design
features by pro version as Bartender
Enterprise Pro 10.0 . Most of the advanced data access capabilities,
including OLE DB and ODBC, as well as spreadsheets and text files. Includes two
of the Companion Applications: Batch Maker and Print Station also included by
this pro version.
Limitations - Not designed for control from
within other software. Does not offer ActiveX Automation, Commander or command
line integration on linux and other cmd based os. No SAP, or XML support. No
job logging or e-mailed error alerts features. Cannot export printer code
templates that currently live and fixed. Excludes all features limitation from
the Automation edition of bartender software.
Basic Edition:
This Basic Version is The most frequently used
label design features. Includes all text, graphics, bar code, and most
serializing capabilities. Useful for keyboard and scanner-supplied label data
only. This is basic version of bartender,
Limitations - No access to external data. No
password protection of label formats, no VB Script customization, no string
concatenation, and only limited text filtering. No custom-base serialization.
Licensing - The Professional and Basic editions
are licensed based on the number of PCs.
